Motorcycle Rentals in San Francisco

We are a lifestyle company whose primary focus is adventure travel, motorcycle tourism and recreation. Every year over 40,000 adventure travelers and motorcycle enthusiasts enjoy a rental or touring vacation from one of our rental facilities located in tourist destinations in the USA, Mexico, France and Spain. Unlimited mileage and VIP & Supplemental insurance included for all rentals.

Ordering Instructions:

Rental rates are per day. Rates are dependant on number of days you are renting the motorcycle; there is a discount for renting the motorcyle for longer periods of time. (examples: If you are needing the rental for 3 days, please enter '3' in the 1 to 6 day field, for 8 days, please enter 8 in the 7 to 13 field, etc.)

Daily Rental Terms & Conditions

~ Rental rate is determined by Pick-up day.
~ Transfers are included for rentals 3 days or more and within a 7 mile radius of the store.
~ All rental motorcycles come equipped with saddle bags for storage of personal items.
~ Helmets are included for Driver and Passengers.
~ Fuel & Oil costs are the responsibility of the renter.

Pick-up, Return & Late Charges

~ Pick-up times of rental motorcycles are accepted during business hours only. You are required to telephone the store the morning of the pick-up day to schedule your transfer (if needed) and pick-up time. Morning pick-ups are not guaranteed (9:00 am - 12:00 noon) but will be accommodated if possible. Pick-ups are not honored after 4:30 pm.
~ Return of rental motorcyles will be accepted during store business hours only. One rental day is based on a 24-hour period starting from the time of pick-up. No refunds for early motorcyle returns.
~ A $25 per hour penalty will be assessed if the motorcycle is returned later than its scheduled drop off time.

Free Transfers

Complimentary client transfers are provided from locations within a 7 mile radius of the store location. Following terms must apply:
1. transfer is arranged by store
2. rental is 3 days or longer

Customer Orientation

Every renter will receive full orientation to the motorcycle. The orientation will cover all aspects of safe motorcycle operation, your responsibilities, as well as local and state laws.

Storage

We will provide storage for luggage, airline tickets, and other valuables, free of charge; however, at your risk.

Helmets (included in daily rental rate)

Helmets are provided with motorcycle rentals and tours. You are encouraged to wear your own helmet for comfort and style reasons. In addition, helmets may be purchased at many of the rental locations.

Motorcycle Substitution

We reserve the right to substitute for the motorcycle model confirmed to renter. Unfortunately, at times certain unexpected and uncontrollable situations arise which may require the substitution of a motorcycle model. If we are unable to provide the confirmed model, a similar or better model will be provided.

Fuel

Fuel costs are your responsibility. You will receive a motorcycle with a full tank of fuel and you are responsible for returning the motorcycle with a full tank of fuel. If you do not return the motorcycle with a full tank of fuel, you will be subject to a $25 refueling charge.

Maintenance Responsibility

You are responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling and reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. You may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.

Driver Requirements

All drivers must be 21 years or older and must possess a valid driver's license that qualifies him/her to operate a motorcycle in the country of origin. GERMAN 1A Licenses are accepted at all locations. Please note upon reservation.

Restrictions (Violation of listed restrictions voids all VIP Theft & Damage Waivers and client will be held liable for damages)

~ Road Restrictions - Rental motorcycles are not allowed on gravel roads, beaches, "logging" or other non-public roads.
~ Mexico Restrictions - Renters cannot enter Mexico on a USA bike without written authorization or accompanied by one of our guides.
~ Death Valley WARNING - Entering Death Valley during the months of June, July and August is dangerous and not recommended.

Security Deposit

A Security deposit of $500.00 will be collected at pick-up (Authorization Only). Security deposit must be processed via a credit card or travelers check. We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations.

Insurance Terms & Conditions

We maintain a minimum of $3 million of liability insurance coverage at all locations. All insurance, coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of negligence, such as illegal use of rental while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You are required to contact the pick-up station or file a Police Report within 48 hours of any damage or accident. Any damages to rented motorcycle without a police report is considered Renter's fault.

VIP Insurance

Theft or Damage to Motorcycle; includes the Theft and all accidental damage to motorcycle and accessories.
~ Renter pays up to $2,000 deductible/occurrence

Breakdown protection - a mechanical breakdown requiring the motorcycle to be in repair for more than 12 hours (flat tires do not constitute a breakdown)
~ Renter is provided up to $35.00/day for a replacement rental and refund of daily rate.

Flat tire coverage
~ Not included - renter is responsible for tire repairs

Supplemental Liability Insurance

~ Renter is protected against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident.
~ Renter supplemental liability insurance benefit: up to $1,000,000

Electra Glide Classic-
This is a fully loaded version of the Electra Glide® Classic. It comes with state-of-the-art features such as electronic cruise control, a 20-watt-per-channel, four-speaker AM/FM/cassette stereo system and a rear control for the passenger. The tank features a new 3-D cloisonné ¥mblem and new, two-tone split line graphics. Available in both carbureted and electronic sequential port fuel injected versions.

Road King -
The Road King® is a motorcycle designed for both touring and cruising. Touring features on the Road King, including the windshield and passenger seat, are easily removable, allowing for quick conversion to a custom solo look. Accenting the Road King's traditional styling is an electric speedometer mounted into a diecast chrome dash, and a large, nostalgic headlamp nacelle. The Road King is available in both carbureted and electronic sequential port fuel injected versions.

Heritage Softail Classic -
The Heritage Softail® Classic is styled to recall the past. The fat front fork is reminiscent of a 1949 Harley-Davidson® Hydra Glide. The old-fashioned looking, studded-leather saddlebags, chrome-studded seat and fishtail mufflers add to its classic look, as does the full windshield, floorboards, large chrome headlamp with twin passing lamps and Fat Bob fuel tank. Sixteen-inch laced wheels feature a new chromed-aluminum hub and a machined-aluminum rear hub.

Dyna Wide Glide -
The Dyna Wide Glide® is characterized by a factory ape hanger handlebar and forward-mounted controls. Standard on the Dyna Wide Glide are a sculptured bobtail rear fender, a one-piece Fat Bob fuel tank with flamed tank graphics, a wide front fork, and a chrome headlight. Laced wheels, with a new chromed-aluminum front hub and a new machined-aluminum rear hub, are also standard.

Low Rider -
The custom detailing on the Dyna Low Rider® includes chrome fender supports, battery cover, belt guard, ignition cover and oil filter, and a specially designed pillow-soft, two-piece seat with a removable passenger pillion for conversion to a solo seat. The Dyna Low Rider also comes with dual-front disc brakes and a black-and-chrome power train.

Fat Boy -
The Fat Boy® looks like no Harley-Davidson® that has come before it. The Fat Boy features solid disc wheels, custom metal fenders, a shotgun-style dual exhaust system, a textured leather seat insert, a hand-laced leather tank panel, floorboards, and a wide FLH-style handlebar.
