Mothers Day Brunch Cruise on the MS Dixie II at Lake Tahoe
Enjoy a Special Mothers Day on Lake Tahoe Treat Mom to a day she'll always treasure. What could be better than a sumptuous champagne brunch on the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere! The MS Dixie II will depart at 10:00 am and cruise to Emerald Bay. Each mom will be presented with a carnation as they board the boat and the menu will feature Carved Spiral Ham, Assorted Petite Quiches, Chicken Breast stuffed with Artichoke Hearts & Parmesan Cheese with a Sun-Dried Tomato Cream. This is a wonderful cruise for family members of all ages. It is a great way to celebrate Mom's special day, see the lake from a different perspective and to learn about the surroundings. Emerald Bay, which is located on Tahoe's West Shore is considered one of the most photographed areas in the world. Surrounded by peaks rising sharply 3000 feet from the Lake, this glacially created formation is home to Fannette Island, Vikingsholm Castle, and Eagle Falls. The MS Dixie II This award-winning, grand paddlewheeler is 151 feet long, 33 feet wide and has three decks. Coast Guard certified for up to 570 passengers, (max. dining capacity 360). Pick-up may be available at South Lake Tahoe hotels; your E-Ticket will include a telephone number to call to make arrangements for available shuttle transportation.
